FINALLY joining the club! KX

I have officially ordered my K-x.

it isn't all pink but its the best of both worlds pink and white.
My husband says you wont look crazy (like with hot pink camera), you will look classy.

So excited can't wait for it to get here!

After months of searching and gawking at all your pics I will be a member.

Don't know about the pink but you will love the k-x. My wife uses hers almost everyday. So much lighter than my k-5 and easier for her to handle. You need a white lens to go with that though!

Congratulations, but please be aware that your new camera is NOT a KX.....it is a K-x

Congratulations! Since the K-x uses AA batteries, I suggest investing on Sanyo Eneloop batteries and a decent charger. Avoid rapid chargers as they usually overheat and shorten the life of any rechargeable.

Thanks guys!!!! I am so excited.

I had been eyeing the K-x for a long time, but couldn't find my right fit (i believe in a colorful life- actually I started in a pink world, but have learned that a hint of it is nicer than an overhaul---now if only I can learn this lesson when buying clothes.) I almost settled for the hot pink K-r but I felt I would be missing out on the K-x's greatness....

Luckily and with major patience, I found the K-x that suits me.

@JATRAX i know!!!! the white lens! I would have to look into that.
@K57XR Yes, I have been looking at Sanyo's batteries. I just got some energizer rechargeables but they drain fast... So I think I am springing for the Sanyo. I will definitely look into a decent charger.

Again, thank you all! can't wait!

I did learn the lesson of K-x vs KX, but I was too excited so my bad if I offend the experienced Pentax users.
If I could change my title I would...but I can't

Welcome to the K-X world. I've had mine for about 2 years now and have approximately 6k images of life. Your camera will amaze you. Upgrading my K-X firmware helped my shorter battery life issue.

KX ( borring black ) was my first DSLR, and now after 2&1/2 years , and in company with K5,K7 + the Q , always stays in my backpack with trusty Sigma 17-70 2.8-4.5 Macro ( perfect compact kit with reliable AA, never let me down! )
enjoy!
