Excellent points all, the K10 will go down as a landmark camera for Pentax, much like the Asahiflex and the K1000. The IQ of this camera holds its own against all competition in its range and even sits at the top when it comes to RAW. Personally, i hate how fast Pentax decided to replace this camera after just one year...they've only just started to change retailers perception of the brand down here largely due to this camera. The second largest retailer in the city recently put ads in the national paper with the K10 taking the spotlight, even decorated it with the official logos of Camera Grand Prix, EISA award, TIPA award....im in no hurry to replace my K10, might even grab another while their still available new...if only because i'd love to have one camera dedicated to my m42 lenses
