Less than 3,200 to the 100k mark. Just sent this to my friends who shoot the "other" brands.

I sent it to my friends that shoot other brands also. That put a smile on my face when they said I can't do that with my camera. )

When i just clicked on the link, it was 100, 237, which i guess made me 100, 238. Awesome video, and truly the best free marketing Pentax could hope for. Thank you a) for the video and b) more importantly for your service. Take care of yourself and stay safe.

Made my teeth hurt watching that, especially the camera shower! That said, very cool and a great test!
Pentax has always made a great product and that is just one more example.
Thanks for keeping us free and volunteering to do it.
Hope they cut you guys loose to win the battle and hearts and minds of the people over there so they could experience some real freedom for the first time in millenniums!

Just wanted to resurrect this thread to share with you all that it has reached over 200,000 views!! Woohoo!

Name: Sealing Video.jpg
Views: 367
Size: 63.5 KB

As of this posting, 200,724! (And yes, I timed the the video for that screen shot grab )

Honestly I was expecting the video to have trouble breaking out of triple digits before being forgotten

Also, just out of sheer curiosity, did this video motivate any of you to buy into Pentax's weather sealed offerings?

-Heie

P.S...that's 18 Canikon's that tried to repeat this test and failed

I read the Reddit comments and some of them said that Pentax is fine but that it can't shoot video. I don't get this because videos shot with Pentax are everywhere. Here's an example.

Ever since I saw this vid, made me confident enough to shell out my savings for a K-5 IIs + DA*50-135 combo.

No regrets, Heie. It worked like a charm, like you said it would. The weathersealing is unbelievably strong. In a Hot Air Balloon Festival I went to last month, the cam got caked by dust everywhere kicked up by balloons, planes, and helo's. I washed it with mineral water afterwards... then took it under the shower the next day. Worked like nothing happened. No problem at all!

Pentax should sponsor you for all the great promo work you have done. At least send you some free gear.
