Very beautiful green pepper shot, vivid, sharp and delicious looking.
I have gotten really nice shots with my pentax 50mm 1.7. They work so great in low light indoors. Keep up the nice
work. Freddy
P.S. here's a picture of my cat I took with no flash with the 50mm 1.7
Also a shot of my living room lamp. No flash with just some filtered sunlight from across the room.

I have both the Pentax 28mm f2.8 and the Pentax 28mm f 3.5. The 2.8 is a little soft and just OK on contrast. The 3.5 is almost as good as my 43mm LTD.

i just have a 28mm f2 petri M.. a little soft wide open nice when stopped down a little..

my son has two 28mm f2.8 sigmas.. an older manual M which is very good.. a newer mint A which is not so good.. neither of us has tried a pentax 28mm..

its a question of not pay too much and suck it and see.. they can always go back on ebay.. luck plays a part i think.. cycle thru a few and u get some good ones..

its a fun game to play and dosnt cost much..

Lisa, I'm relatively new to dslr photography and only have the 50mm 1.7 lens (pentax manual) along with my 18-55 Pentax kit lens on my K100D.

I'm thinking of getting a 50mm prime or 40mm prime from Pentax for all around shooting of flowers, landscapes and family shots in my living room.
Am trying to make a choice between the two lenses with a budget of up to $225.
Anyhow, I just want to congratulate you on your patience with those manual focus lenses and your photos , from hockey to outdoor nature shots are really remarkable. I am rather awed by them and really admire what you're doing. Regards, Freddy
