K-30 or K-5

Which would you get, on their own merits. And given the small price differential.

If I were buying a new camera, I'd get the K-30, but I wouldn't replace my K-5 with a K-30 (though the .AVI video files are starting to get on my nerves).

I'd give the K-30 review a read, as it does a great job of comparing the two:

Thanks Adam...great review! I went back and re-read it. Sounds like a really nice camera, but, it seems like they still have a bit to go in terms of autofocus capabilities. Maybe I'm being overly pessimistic about it in practical terms. Plus, I think I would miss having an LCD on the top of the camera....although I'd probably get used to it.

Regards,

Steve
