We have seen that the mid-level K-30 has many of the features of the K-5 and K-01 at $850 or so. We are expecting an entry-level replacement for the K-r too. So, what features will the new entry-level camera have when it is released?

I think PRIC will forgo a K-r replacement.

I don't think there will be a K-r replacement just by looking at the K-30's feature and prices, I don't think releasing a 650 dollar body will sell if you can get a K-30 for just 150 more to get way more. I think by Photokina, rather than releasing a K-r replacement, the K-30's price will drop by at least to 750. Pentax doesn't care or worry about the pricing, they drop when they want to drop and they don't care what their competitor's prices are before they do it. For Pentax, they will drop the K-30's price to entry-level as their answer to a entry-level camera. But don't count on it, I may be wrong.

I don't recall the 4 DSLR lineup as being anything official from Pentax, just Internet speculation.

I remember a lot of speculation based on some vague statements made by someone from Pentax. The interpretation was the eventually there would be a 4 DSRL lineup.

Pentax has a 4 DSLR lineup right now. K-r, K-30, K-5 and 645D.

K-r was discontinued last year.

They have a 2 EVIL 3 SLR lineup.

I used pentaximaging.com for checking DSLR lineup, and they had 4.
Sure, manufacturing on K-r stopped long ago, but at least on some markets K-r is still in the lineup, and still available.
