Markup, (Pricing)

This can be for PENTAX gear, or third party. Just curious how much markup their is on camera gear. I just bought a TTL off camera flash cord from *bay, for $2.00.
It is from Promaster. The retail sticker was still on the packaging at a cost of $59.99. Anyone ever "haggle" a store owner for a better price?

For DSLRs it's usually in the 100% range, while for accessories I'm inclined to think it's even higher...
