Backward compatibility?
If Pentax would add an aperture lever again: YES!
Otherwise an Olympus or Canon dslr would do it the same way....
Flash?
If Pentax could stand the voltage of old flashes like my Mewtz 45 CT-1: YES!
Pricewise:
If the new Pentax isn't far below the Oly E-3 it will be hard to sell the new ones numerously....
