Well, your message is a bit vague and cryptic, David. Are you referring to your own sisters, or the three sisters Gunnedoo, Wimlah, and Meehni in New South Wales? In either case, how does the K10D fit into all this? Are you planning to photograph either of those?

I always suck at puzzles. Could you give us more clues please? Do you have a K10D? or want reasons to get one? or reasons to have a 3rd body?

Oh, you're referring to the three Pentax limited lenses (31mm Limited, 43mm Limited, and 77mm Limited). However, the reference to "three sisters" was a little vague, and the rest of your message is still somewhat confusing even after knowing this, so I tend to agree with Gooshin's conclusion that you've been in the sun a bit too long.

I've heard "3 sisters" elsewhere in reference to the 3 limited primes, nothing too cryptic about that. The rest of the post is probably a Tasmanian dialect warped by babelfish or some other online translator. When I translate it back to Tasmanian I get "gots ta get me some o' that shizzle, yall know it."

Get a K10D, and you will no longer be crazy (?)
Or maybe you'll become crazy?
Btw this thread is hilarious

Edit
I think he has a K10D, and it has made him crazy. And his wallet hurts from the... "sisters"....

Because they are cut down versions to suit small sensors and I prefer full frame lenses.

My original post was an attempt to lighten up what was becoming a negative and somewhat confused blog on cameras that the majority of us won't even see for a couple of months.

The connection of course was for the original three FF limited lenses each to have it's own body. *istD - 43mm, K10D - 77mm and K20D - 31mm.

There has already been a thread on what to do with redundant DSLRs and now with rumors and a Cnet news item for a significant upgrade to the K20D in 2009 (see K1D thread) the upgrade path is continuous and expensive, unless the gear is paying for itself. It seems that Moore's Law is very much part of the photographic scene now

Take Care

Ah - so did you mean the title of the thread to be "Reason for the K20D"?

Well, if you're asking about my message, I didn't mention any others because he only listed those three.

Second mention of the Three Amigos, neither any less cryptic when it comes how they might relate to this thread as anything the OP said. However, I think jsherman999 has hit on something that clears up a lot from that OP. As for the rest and the Three Amigos, you're on your own. I'm getting out of town (this thread) as quick as I can.
