Indeed. If Pentax don't come out with a FF, and the AF on the D600 is as good as the D700, I'll buy a D600.
In the camera market today with all the mirrorless systems, the niche a DSLR plays in is 1) ultimate IQ (in the form of a FF sensor) and 2) fast AF-C. Unfortunately these are the exact 2 things Pentax doesn't do.
I think unless Pentax can address these 2 things why would people want a Pentax DSLR? I'm sounding glass half full here I know, but cameras like the OMD/NEX and D600 are the perfect "pincer" move on the Pentax's market. Want small/weather sealed? Buy an OMD. Want ultimate in IQ or need ultimate in sports camera, buy a D600. What Pentax has left to compete on is just price I guess.
