The fact that I didn't add the stock K7 screen was bugging me, so I just updated the original photo (also improved it by labeling it!) with all three viewfinder shots. Stock K7 finder + O-ME53 finder + Spotmatic F finder. Hope that helps anyone else looking to pick up an O-ME53 or similar magnifying eye cup.

To me, the bigger viewfinder is one of the main attractions of the full frame. But maybe the viewfinder could also be made bigger on APS-C, without sacrificing too much for it.

i think that's the case for many of us.

A bigger VF for APS-C can be done with the EVF (oh my god ! he dared to say it !), as it allow to disconnect size of the VF and the size of the sensor.

To be honest, i never tried the praised EVF of the last Nex, but if they are as good as many are saying, it could be interesting to see what Pentax could do with It (but that just an idea i'm throwing into the air, without any hope for any answer).

If I didn't wear glasses I'd get one of these in a heartbeat. I wish a magnifier was made for us four-eyed users.
