Originally posted by chocxfish I am thinking of buying my wife a K100d for her birthday and wondering if the lens from her older SLR are compatible. She has a Pentax SF-10 with several quality lenses and it would be great if she could use them on her new camera. What type of lense does the K100 use as compared to the SF-10. Any input would be apreciated.....Thanks
The SF-10 uses the KAF mount; the K100D uses a limited KAF2 mount. This means: her lenses will work, but there may be some caveats. Do you know which lenses she has exactly?
