That makes sense. I may take it to a camera shop if they have the right tools. Worth spending a few dollars to have it done right. It's an annoyance and nothing else.

Only dirt on the lens or on the sensor will show up on the photos. The dirt in viewfinder or focusing screen does not affect photos.
