K-5 II and K-30 do not Share the Same AF Module

Some were wondering whether the K-5 II and the K-30 shared the same AF module.

The following images show the innards of the respective cameras (click on the images to get to the source, i.e., a PopPhoto article), demonstrating that the AF modules are rather different.

I can't help but think this violence is a reflection of the built up angst Pentax employees must be feeling of late. All I can say is Ouch!

@Eulogy: Better than dropping or microwaving iPhones or iPads simply because someone is bored and seeking attention on Youtube. At least we have a minor educational outcome here.
