Best Place to Pre-Order the K-5 iiS ?

I sold my K-5, will probably be shipping it out in a week or two. I need to pre-Order the K-5 iiS. Does anyone have any solid info on when the camera is being released for sure ? I've heard 10/15. But I'm curious If that's the date Pentax ships out to the vendors , or will they get them ahead of time, and be able to ship to customers on the 15th ? I have some pretty important shoots scheduled the end of the month, and without a camera body, I'm up the creek without a paddle. I could rent one, but that's an expensive last resort. Has anyone pre-ordered with B&H, Adorama, or Pentax before ? What was your experience like ? Speedy processing ? I'm also weary of the K-5 iiS being on back order for some reason. I guess that's the pessimist in me coming out. I'll wrap this up. Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you !

I've not pre-ordered with B&H, but I have back ordered, which for all purposes is the same thing, and actually received the item before the scheduled date.

I just pre-ordered from Adorama....................see the thread.................I bought my K7 and K5 there and have great luck with them....

BH and Adorama tend to be the first to get the shipments. For the K-30, BH had them well before the (third party) Pentasx webstore.

Remember that you can get free marketplace access if you shop there- simply PM me your order number after placing your order through one of my signature links.

That's $200 more than MSRP, plus, I doubt they they actually have it in stock yet.
