Originally posted by froeschle Unfortunately, the latest Pentax DSLR - the K-3 - also does not feature an aperture coupler.
So, Ricoh/Pentax executives will be asked about this issue at CP+ again.
Yes, please ask them.
I still cannot understand Pentax.
Ok, if a K-r, K30 or K50 still has a crippled K-Mount, itīs a political decition.
But all K5 and K3? Hey, they are or have been the top body of a brand which wants to cut off a bit of the Nikon market!
Why dont you do it? It is, like I already wrote, only a few cents or dollars.
From the *istDs to the K-3 Limited I own a lot of Pentax DSLR.
Do you think I would have bought less when the price is 1500 Euros instead of 1490 or 900 instead of 890?
I think that a Full-Frame will come this year (crossing fingers).
Ok.
But what is a FF body without lenses? Nobody will buy a FF camera for a DFA100 only.
So please give us, at least with the upcoming FF a full compatible mount. Then we can try out our cam with the old K- and M-series in the vitrines
And you can be sure that we will wait for a more complete FF "digital" lens line up.
But I will not buy a FF-Pentax only for using "digital" Tamrons or Sigmas.
Even if you would bring us HD-WR-versions of the FA-limiteds, itīs not enough.
With a FF-DSLR we NEED a full working mount for the old 20/24/28/35/50/55/100/120/135/200/300 ... while waiting for new FF-glass.
(sorry for my bad english)
