one of the many joys of using the pentax system is every lens works. the in body motors are needed for the older f/fa/da lenses.

i am well ware of pentaxe's backwards compatability and the existence of the FA lines of lenses.

bold caps make it more important right? you pose the question of why have it. i answered that question.

while i'm 3 times over grateful for in body image stabilization, with the influx of many HSM lenses from home field and companies like Sigma, there seems little to do for the in body autofocus mechanism (unless ofcourse you want to autofocus those middleaged lenses that can autofocus but not at HSM level yet)

it's so important, they advertise that fact.

lol. what were you hoping for, agreement that pentax should ignore 3 families of lenses plus the * for each?

why doesnt pentax develop some sort of silly-super-awesome in body auto focus, or drop it all together and make the bodies cheaper?
this is just so stupid it's unreal.

why ignore, quite the oposite, enchance the older non HSM lenses by developing better in body technology

20 years ago 260 gigabytes of memory in the palm of your hand was unreal.

you're either a really young guy with no imagination, or a really old guy that likes "things the way they are"

probably the former since you cant seem to finish a sentence without saying the word stupid or retard.

you know, i take it back. it's such a great idea you should email pentax-(whatever country you're in) and tell them that they should spend r&d money on in body focus motors.

i think they'll agree it's a good way to spend money, with that impressive line up of only sdm lenses, and basically all ff non-sdm lenses out of production.

well, blame gooshin i guess. you know, big bold letters and a low reading comprehsion can lead to problems. sadly, we're roughly the same age so i can't blame the school system for failing; we had the same curriculum.

or maybe you're just a mindless sheep that never questions anything any big corporation does and just nod in agreement at everything.

i for one am curious as to why pentax took so long to start doing in-lens focusing, and why they are abandoning in-body focusing.

if you think this is a SILLY IDEA, say so,

say "this is a silly idea, i think so because XYZ",

not "your a retard k thx bye go write silly letters"
