Pentax could we get the K-5 II / K-5 IIs in color please?

I would love to see the K-5 IIs in orange! Yes orange but if we can't have orange, can we at least do white? Just because it's a pro camera, it doesn't mean it can't come in fun colors right? Black is so boring and with my white K-r, it was always a great conversation starter. Think of it as free marketing from the early adopters!

I'm sure there are many who would "enjoy" theirs in black but I would prefer another color Dear Sirs. There are many times when I see topics I might disagree with but I don't go making off-the-cuff comments just for the sake of posting something. If other colors make you feel a little insecure, that's another story but look how many people ordered the K-30 in white or blue:
https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-k-30/195471-k-30-colors-did-you-buy.html

I'm sure that color variety helps Pentax's market share rather than hurt it.

You can have any color you want, as long as it's black :P

Now if the K-5 came in Gorilla glass.. or better yet, bulletproof glass... that's something.

I was quite serious. One could use the K-7 assembly diagram to take it apart (and put it back together ).

Black for me, it's not boring, it's stylish.

Colours are cheap!

Black is stylish!....for funerals and galas maybe but not everyone shoots those kind of events. Cheap looks is the new trend....I see many millionaires wearing Timex watches nowadays...meanwhile the aspiring rest are buying Pateks, Panerais and Cartiers.

OK I'm kidding and if you're a pro and are getting paid for an event, of course you can't show up with a pink or yellow camera (might affect your credibility a bit). Imagine if every house or building in your town was the same color (wait, that kind of reminds me of where I live)..but you get the idea. In Japan if you don't conform and buy the same car color as everyone else, you become a social outcast so there are many aspects to picking the right color I for one whenever I traveled and saw someone with another white DSLR I knew they were Pentaxians; the smiles and solidarity we felt, were priceless!

I never thought I would want a colored camera, until I saw the K30 in blue. Absolutely gorgeous and I would love to have my next camera in that color.
