Officially? We don't really know the extent of the difference yet. However, I believe I saw pictures that of Photokina, where they had a dark room set up so you could take pictures and see the AF difference in very low light situations. The bravery of doing this with pre-release firmware is quite something!
Allegedly the speed has also been enhanced, now, the question is, is it enhanced from what the K-5 was/is, or the K-30 (Which is a touch faster than the K-5)? If it is from the K-30, then I think we're looking at some pretty great new features in the K-5 II!
Unfortunately, it is still 11-point focus, and it sounds like the size of the points is just as large as the K-5 was/is.
To verify a lot of this, you will need to wait until the 15th or so, which is rapidly approaching. I'm sure there will be many tests done on here to help confirm many of our suspicions, and perhaps debunk some others.
