They're here. I got my mitts on a K5ii today, just playing with it in-store. Not much, to be honest, new to say here. It's still the dynamite package the K5 was/is, but a minor minor facelift, more of a manicure really, to keep it in the limelight.

For what it's worth, after a brief test, it wasn't possible to determine if the AF was faster or more accurate. The 18-135 WR was fitted. The K30 next to it, with the same lens, performed as well in the conditions ( bright in-store lighting ). The new screen seemed as good as anything else out there. There was no K5 to compare directly though.

No K5iis on display, just a fact-sheet detailing the K5iis/K5ii/K30 differences. Neither K5ii nor K5iis were in-stock in the ( large, central Tokyo ) shop I was in.

That is great news. Thanks Paul. So, at least K5II is coming soon in US. I wonder when they will be available in Europe.

First K-5II kits (with 18-55) were spotted around november 3rd. No news whatsoever on other K5 II combinantions and the K-5IIs
