Overexposure in Av Mode

I am getting some severe over exposure when shooting in Av Mode with my K7. Any suggestions?

Change metering modes and shoot the same seen, see whether matrix, centre weight and spot all overexpose? Or just compensate EV manually. Does it happen with all lenses or just a specific one?

Which lens? Or all lenses?

This is usually related to a slow/broken aperture mechanism on the lens.

Can you post a shot as an example with EXIF intact? It makes it much easier to diagnose, anything else is just a guess.

If all other modes are fine, it is possible that you just have EV compensation set, the EXIF will let us know for sure.

Thanks for all of the help. Turns to be the spot metering issue. Forgot I had switched modes.
