I also am very tempted by this low price to get a new Pentax body for my lenses. My only Pentax camera right now is a Kx, so I'm in your same situation. The question for me is whether the K-01 would be a replacement for my K-X or a compliment to it. That is, would I want to have two camera bodies? Use the K-01 for times when it's better than the K-X (video capture, for example), and use the K-X when it's better (viewfinder, faster AF for fast-moving subjects).
The K-01 is only marginally smaller than the K-X, both in terms of weight and physical dimensions. I've heard the new firmware improves the AF speed a lot but it's still going to be slower than the K-X. You might need to consider whether that matters for the subjects that you shoot -- if mostly stationary objects, then the K-01 could be a good upgrade in some ways, but if you are trying to photograph kids running around or sports, you are probably better off keeping your K-X (or better yet, get the K-30).
Still, I can't dispute that the $350 price for the body is extremely appealing and has made me seriously consider buying one. Or I keep saving my pennies and pay roughly double the price to get a K-30 body that has a very nice viewfinder (better than K-X) and is WR too. Decisions, decisions!
