Anyone with K100D Super who can guide my blind K100D Super?

Hi.

My K100D have a dead back display so I want to know the button combination to change certain settngs. Hope you understand what i mean.

What I want to change is in A-mode:

- Change ISO
- Swtch to best JPEG
- Reset to default settings
- To activate custom settings and make no aperture ring work

Regards

Probably not the answer you were looking for, but:
1. Open the marketplace
2. Search for "Pentax K-x"
3. Locate a listing you're interested in and acquire the camera
4. Resume normal use

Nah I like the K100D. I just sold my K-5 to go cheap with an used ist DS.

Then I bought a 50-200. The seller didnt have a back cap so he used the K100D instead.

Now that I have it why not use it as "backup"? :P

OK. In Av press Fn. then press right four-way controller button, this takes you into the sensitivity screen. Now use up and down buttons on the 4-way to change between Auto, 200 to1600 ISO, then press OK to set.
The problem here is that it remembers the last setting, so you would have to look at the EXIF of the last shot to determine where you are, as far as changing anything.
IMHO it is time to get it repaired of get a nice new K 30 or K5 something.

Cheers.

Yeah.

I found a way to fix the settings. Connect it to TV and the settings are alive.

Its now like a digital film SLR where I dont know how the pics will look like till I come home.

Put a split prism screen in it and only use it for manual lenses, make it a rule to set the ISO once per shoot and keep small cards in it for a more complete effect.

If you really like the camera that much, consider a dirt-cheap small LCD field monitor.
