Damaged Pentax transfer cable

I seemto have smashed my pentax transfer cable. I have another one that looks identical from an olypmpus camera and i'm wondering if i could try it withthe k100d.

If the plugs fit in each end, then it will likely work. Your other options are to replave the cable or use an SD card reader in place of the cable. Dave

thanks! it does work, but i was just wondering if there would be any voltage issues.

The cable is not powered, and thus cannot contribute anything to the voltage (except to reduce it through resistance).
