K5ii diffraction correction

does anyone happen to know if the K5ii uses the diffraction correction system in autofocus, used in K30? If not, how's that? Isn't that a downgrade?

It does use it. Sales material says it uses the diffraction element in k-30 as well as new -3EV AF.

Users have tested in dim tungsten light with good accuracy.
