Cable release for "ist"

Does anyone have any experience of the cheap Chinese cable releases on ebay.
The "ist" does not seem to have a setting for shutter mode, ie 1 click for open, click again for close.
The cable release seems the only solution for long exposure in "bulb" setting unless you keep your finger on the shutter.

Yep. I have one like this. You lock open the shutter by pressing the button, then sliding it up. To unlock, slide it back down. Easy.

It works well, but the wire they use on these is kinda fragile, so you'll want to be careful with the wire.
