Used K10D or new K200D?

Given that both cameras use the same 10MP CCD, will it be a better deal buying a used K10D or to get a new K200D? If you think the K10D still is a better buy and is a better camera, do you think it will raise the price pf used K10D'S? Will the new additional features of the K200D be worthy of it's $800.00 plus price?

One is the new entry-level camera and the other is what used to be the company's flagship.

The K200D is still going to be missing the various direct controls of the K10D, and I haven't seen any indication that they've gone all-out in removing arbitrary software limitations (fractional stop ISO, rear-curtain sync flash, etc., etc.)

So, if you were buying the K10D for the dubious reason of getting the 10 megapixel sensor, you probably are better off with the K200D. Otherwise, the K10D still looks pretty sweet. (I'm still surprised they didn't keep making 'em for another year.)

K10D vs K200D

I have had the K100D for a year now and it has been lovely to use and superb in its products. I have recently bought the K10D when the price dropped to 450 and it is magnificent. Especially important is total control over the white balance, the dual rings and the green button. It is also uncluttered by 'scene' modes. Go for it. They are getting very scarce indeed.

I've gone ahead and upgraded to a K10D (waiting for it in the mail), after deciding that the K200D has no functional advantages to the K10D (other than live view, which I'm not much a fan of).

Same sensor, but having a similar body and design to K100D, I wanted more ready access to features as the K10D offers - a matter of preference, really, but an easy choice for me...
