Depreview Poll: Best camera of the year.

I don't want to suggest what camera to vote for, but over at Depreview they are having a poll for the best camera of the year:

No K-5IIs that competes with FF cameras? And costs 1/3? Sad poll IMHO.

D800 deserves camera of the year, no other camera this year even comes close to the impact the D800 had.

Olympus omd em5 - for showing that it can be done with smaller cameras and what the future is going to be like.

Yeah, I'd say so as well.

I voted D800/E. The Olympus is a good step forward for m4/3 but still too limited to be camera of the year.

Limited in what sense? It's got way more features than the D800 and a comparable image quality.

Imo omd em5

For some reason I can't make a post in all caps, even where appropriate.

I just got the K-5 IIs recently but I have tip the hat off to Nikon for pulling the D800E.

This is going to turn into a battle between the OM-D and the D800E, both fantastic cameras. My vote goes to the D800E with the E-M5 a close second, and the K30 for a Pentax product.

All in all it has been a pretty remarkable year for new cameras.

The OM-D is an absolutely fantastic camera that has really put m4/3 on the map but let's not blow it out of proportion here.

Should have listed the NEX 6. I don't know why the NEX system got snubbed.

I would also say that while great cameras the K30 is simply a sidestep from K-5 and K-5 II is a slight improvement, cameras like D800, OM-D and A99 are pure evolution/revolution.
