K10 First Impressions

Had a chance today to play around with my new K10.
Really like it but have much more learning and experimenting to do with it.
It reminds me greatly of my PZ1P body. Both are very similar in using the controls and the weigh of the camera (size), etc. I think I am going to really like this camera.
I have set up a sample settings page of some of my images if you would like to view them. Go to http://www.homepage.mac.com/grcolts
And click on the K10 folder.
Feedback always welcome!

Welcome to the forum. The K10D is an incredible camera. There is a learning curve but its worth it. I will take a look at your pics when on the faster computer at work tomorrow. Broad band is so nice compared to dial up. Enjoy the new camera.
thanks

It looked like that goose was going to get territorial on you. Very nice comparison shots for the WB (helpful for me). Makes me want to go out and tool around more with my K100D but it's so late (early?) though.

Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the forums!

Still leanring the K10. This morning I played around using the RAW formats which was interesting comparing them to the jpegs. I can't believe how long the battery lasts in the K10. Nice. As for the geese in my pictures, they are used to being fed by walkers to the park so are not too afraid of you. Hope everyone is enjoying their Pentax cameras! Both old and new ones.
