I can't see my reply about the size, maybe I forgot to click the Submit button.. Lol. It was like tis:

"6MP? Are you nuts? Let's decide for say max 1000 pixels on the long side and 300 kB. That is more than enough to see how we interprete the subject."

Let me also add that it is an advantage to be able to see the all of the picture on screen without having to scroll, and with the sharpening as the postprocessor intended us to (meaning; we should not have to resize the finished picture to see it).

Jonas, yeah I considered that. What I suggested was for everyone to send me a full size result (3008 x 2000) and I will resize each for posting at 25%, a link to the full size file would be put in as a link to my site for detailed examination. But I understand the dilemna you are presenting.

So, if you don't want me to resize your file (because it may mar your result, send it to me at max 1000 pixels on long side - 300kb max size. You can still send me the fullsize file if you wish and I will put up a link to it from my site.

Arbutusq, you should get a mail from Wildherre if you aren't late. Please send your result to me.

Wildherre, when is the deadline?

Whew, that was the fasted pp I've ever done, I think! The "2 hours from now" message was posted at 7:47 local time, it's now 9:41 and I just sent the file off. And it was after 8:00 before I checked this thread. I thought I was going to be able to download the file at school tomorrow... did you know it takes about 40 minutes to download that size of file on dial-up? Luckily we don't get a lot of phone calls. I wonder if that has anything to do with the line being tied up so often?

I'm eager to see everyone else's take on this. It was done in a rush, but I should still learn something.

Julie

ps - looking at the post time, it apparently took me six minutes to write this. No wonder I'm behind schedule on the PhD, writing at such a snail's pace!

Sorry guys, wife was hogging the PC all night. Anyways, I've only got pics so far from Slipchuck, WMBP, Jonas. Got the original from Wildherre.

Foxglove, seeing your post, I'm assuming that you tried to send already and maybe the attachment was too big?

Did everyone else see my email address in an earlier post?

Added: Sorry Julie/Foxglove. Didn't realize your connection problems. No worries, I'm waiting for a couple others still.

Pictures of Interpretations Posted!

I think we have waited long enough, so here we go.

Except for the original first, I picked your names out of a hat to determine the order of appearance.

All images were resized to 1000 pixels max, vertical or horizontal, where required using MS Windows XP Image Resizer Powertoy.
