Can you post a thumbnail of the picture you are thinking of? I must have something that motivates me...

And yes, trog has a point; if there are any takers they can mail the resulting JPG (ready for web publishing) to wildherre so he/she can publish all at the same time. They should all be the same final size I think.

I'd be delighted to give it a try. I'm a Raw processing newbie, so I should give other people a chance to shine.

You can email me at polytrope-at-gmail-dot-com.

Sounds like fun. I would like to play around with PP.

The timing thing would be difficult because we all live in different time zones.

Maybe we can have a list of names of people who are keen to participate. Once all the images are sent out and edited by the people in the list, the postprocessed photos must be submitted to only one person via private message or to Mo. Then all images PP would be presented in the thread here at once.

How does that sound?

This struck me as a fair idea at first, but upon consideration, I'm not sure why it's important. Doesn't sound like a competition with a prize - just a test to see what five different users come up with. For me, at least, looking at what somebody else did would be pointless, and if it wasn't pointless, it still would defeat the point of the exercise.

I am certainly willing to promise not to "cheat". :-)

Hey, this sounds like fun - I'm fairly new to raw (6 or 7 months of it) but I'd be interested in taking a whack at it.

Great idea. I'm not good enough to play but I will defiantly be a spectator.

Wildherre,

I'm sorry you misunderstood what I said. I would be no good at it. Get somebody else. My interest is seeing what they come up with.

Sorry for the misundestanding.

not for me either i dont even do raw.. purely a jpeg man me..

i would still be interested in seeing the results thow.. just to see how five different peoples idea of what a given picture should look compare..

its not a who does it best thing to me just what each individual comes up with.. which is why i dont they should see each other efforts.. it would influence their own production..

Wild,

I'm not yet a PP guy, but I can host the pics. How long do you want them to be displayed?

Oh, guys, I'll resize them to fit the monitor, then have a link to full size. ok?
