At 5.5 Terapixel, the frame rate with the current speed of memory cards would probably be about one image every 12-24 hours. And that's not counting the time needed for the several dozen times memory cards would have to be physically moved between the camera and computer to transfer small sections of an image far too large for a single card or single transfer.

Anyway, forget Terapixels. I wanna know how fast it focuses, how well it focuses in low light, how low image noise is at higher ISO settings, and whether RiceHigh has measurbated it.

Ben... why didn't you tell me....?

I'm guessing there are a couple of people on this forum who have spouted praise on the K20D who are feeling pretty ill right now. Boy, did they back the wrong horse!

No, but I have an even better idea--go down to your nearest craft or scrapbooking store and find some duckie stickers. Yellow is best, but if nothing else, Donald will do.

Yep, I can hear the pounding of feet on footpaths, and fingers on phones cancelling those K20D orders now.

Yes. Notice the Penchan name brand on the camera. Penchan is the name for Pentax in China.

Just as Pentax is short for the pentaprism used in all Pentax cameras, Penchan is short for pentaprism and the Chinese fictional detective Charlie Chan.

The pictures are a bit blurry, but I guess they are just 100% crops from the same camera, shot from a dozen or so miles away
