your last part is correct.. but in the real world compared with film u are getting something for nothing..

so your last conclusion is now correct..

and given enough mega pixels and enough detail we can all just have the one 28mm lens take a big wide angle pic and crop out the piece we want.. he he

which is somethng that happens already when folks post websized pics for review.. what looks like a nice panaramic aint really its just a letterbox size crop taken from the middle of a much larger image..

and we can all use imaging software to produce whatever bokeh we like.. i worry about whats happening to photography.. he he
