K100d Instruction DVD? Worth the money?

I'm trying to extract as much performance out of my K100d as possible. Is the Instruction DVD worth the 28 bucks or so? Anybody have this particular DVD? Or, anybody have a used copy for sale? Thanks.

no, its not worth it.

since you can learn everything here, for free.

if you really feel like spending money you can donate to the site.

I haven't seen it, but it can probably speed up your learning curve if it was done right

As long as you know the basics about photography and read the K100D's manual, there is nothing more that DVD can do. All it teaches you is that "when you set the dial to Av, it means you are in... say it with me, kids, A-P-E-R-T-U-R-E P-R-I-O-R-I-T-Y

It really depends on your learning preference.
I'm a "book" type person - read the manual from cover to cover over one weekend. That, plus practice plus tips and information I picked up from this forum all speeded up my learning curve.

The DVD may be helpful if wading through the details in the manual is going to be too slow to get you started.
