Tethering please! I have tried to make do with freeware but need the real thing.

Disappointing because they supported it with previous models but for some reason felt they could drop it.

Would love to have tethering support via Lightroom especially.

open up the format and let the community develop it will probably be the quickest way to make consumers happy and catch up to the big guys IMO. do it Pentax!

it's not only tethering whats needed,
i just like to have a documented API,
which includes an interface for tethering.

but if this is just for tethering you can
count me in anyway. +1

I like PK Tether. Pentax has to do their own and allow users to be able to "re-program" our cameras to allow us to choose between screw drive or SDM auto-focus for lenses that have both (like the DA 300).

I'm in too. It's an important thing for many and something that is relatively easy to do.

I'm in too. Tethering with Mac, and Aperture (which has tethering with other makes). Also tethering to my iPad.

I found tethering very useful for one project last year. Since then I've upgraded computer and can no longer run the old Pentax tethering software. Would love to see this back. I can't claim I would use it all that often, but I would definitely use it for studio-type macro shooting.

I would absolutely support this - and doubly so if the electronic viewfinder (Live View) can be viewed on the tethered computer.
