Well, this for me together with wireless ttl capabilities that really suck is a good reason to jump to Nikon, if budget was not an issue I probably would have already done it, you get my vote, in the foreseable future I'm still stuck with pentax.

And another - Tethering for real

Yup. I want tethering too. Couldn't believe they took it away.

Tethering is a deal breaker for some

One of my needs is to take product photos for eCommerce. For that tethering is almost a must, so for me tethering is a deal breaker. I *think and hope* the third party software will work for now.. But if Pentax would have officially supported tethering I wouldn't be writing this, I would be one my way to the store to buy a Pentax!

Count me in.

Pentax has a serious opportunity here for a special feature set. Imagine, for example, a "pre-programmed" time lapse via tethering. Both the exposure and interval could be modified throughout the shot.

And a Bluetooth version would be awfully attractive.

Add me to the petition.

Hint to Pentax: more functionality equals more customers.

How can we go about making this a proper representation to Pentax?

I will gladly take tethering for future Pentax cameras ... even better if it comes to all existing Pentax cameras as well via firmware update.

TETHERING! Please! Or make it easier for 3rd party people to make it an option... it is very annoying that this is not available to us anywhere, and using an EyeFi card and my iPad is not as great as it sounds.
