Any Pentax user shooting microstock?

I only tryed the pentax k10d for 4 days with the kit lens . In spite of the sharpness was not very good , i liked the colors. My question is if my decision for pentax camera is a good choice for microstock because there are sites that are very strict for noise and ca.

If i should go with Pentax the k10d would be enough or shall i need k20d?

Thanks ( this is my first post in the forum)

The 18-55mm is no professional quality lens, but I think it's up to the job if you can't get something better. The K10D no doubt is way above the standard, even the K100D would do - both have extremely good resolution. Just avoid ISO higher than 800 on the K10.

Just check with the stock site(s) you're considering working with to see what their minimum, non-interpolated file size is, then use a camera that meets or exceeds that minimum.

noise of k100d is better, I have a few iso800 shots on all micros. the k10d though I really try to keep it under 200, with downsizing images I have some iso400. Personally go the k100d and better lenses or depending on finances get the k20d for the noise as more mp which = more $. But you will also want good lenses. IMO skip the kit lens grab a tamron 28-75.
