K100d super or K10d

The obvious answer would be K10d, i know, but...

I have a K100d, i'm only upgrading because i'm planning to buy one or two SDM lenses, at the moment i didn't felt limited by the K100d, so don't know if it's worth the extra money for the K10d.

I can get the K100d Super for 350 new, and the K10d for aprox 500 used .

i'm a bit undecided....

I've been facing similar decission not so long ago when I was buying a friend for *Ist DS. I went after K100D Super. Why? Better iso, AA batteries, almost identical body and controls. I paid €444 for kit in local shop. If I could get K10D still in warranty for €500 total I'm not sure what I'd do.

Fortunately, SDM lenses can be used on the K100D with the in-body af motor. If you don't felt limited by your current camera, you can buy the lenses now and upgrade later.

I think your decision may need to consider the K200, whether you intend to retain the K100D or not, and whether the lenses you plan to purchase will support screw drive focusing.

If you intend to keep the K100, then the K10D might be a better option because you get better shake reduction (K100 is 2 axis, K10 is 2 axis plus rotational) and 10MP.

The down side is controls are different, so there are some new things to learn.

the K200 may be the best long term, but how long are you willing to wait?

If you are keeping the K100, commonality of controls may be of interest, if you are discarding it, I personally think the K10 has a better control layout.
