Pentax K20D Lowest Price

Best Price Camera's. Pentax K20D, 14.6 Megapixel CMOS Sensor Digital SLR Camera

Bodyonly advertised for $1099. Free shipping.

Don't know anything about them, but that's $200 off the going price.

Their ResellersRatings.Com rating looks pretty ugly ...

Best Price Cameras (enterprisephoto.com, infinitiphoto.com, jandkcameras.com) Customer Ratings, Reviews and Prices at ResellerRatings

Looks like they change their domain quite often too ... I sign they are trying to hide something?

I wouldn't touch them with the proverbial 10 foot pole.

With online camera purchases, if it sounds too good to be true, it is. With few exceptions, I stick with B&H, Amazon, and occasionally Adorama for new stuff, KEH for used.

What will probably happen is this - you'll order the camera, it will be in stock, and then a day or two later you'll get an email asking you to call them to confirm something or other, billing address, something like that. You'll call, and the rep will give you a hard sell on a bunch of other really overpriced crap, like $150 batteries. They'll have a Brooklyn accent. (no offense NYers.) After you get out of the hard sell, they'll tell you that the 'body only' offering was sold out or on backorder, and all they have left is package bundles - which include the world's crappiest tripod, some other crap, and that $150 battery.

At that point, I think, a lot of people just say screw it, I really want the camera bad, just give me that $1600 package 'O crap and be done. That's how they make their profits.

If you resist, you get more hard sell before you get off the line.

When the phone's hung up, you go take a shower a couple times, then go to your computer and order from B&H or Adorama, and have your camera in 3 days, no hard sell, no unwanted crap.

That's generally how it works with the 'too good to be true' places. Crap fest.

JSherman, you forgot to mention that, when you resist all their hard sells, they still tell you that you cannot get the body only and they then send you the camera with the kit lens...and charge you whatever they want. If you try to return it, it will be like trying to paddle up shit creek...without that paddle.

Wow. A local camera store that has the K20D in stock.

Whoa. It's like Hans Christian Andersen, Brothers Grimm stuff.
