Using SCN Mode on k100D Super

I am wondering if anyone can help me with my K100D Super. I am using lenses from my old K1000 and have been trying to use the SCN mode but it does not seem to work as described in the manual. Does it only work with the digital lenses or do I have to set it up in the menu screen. Thanks

If you are using older lenses that do not have an "A" setting on the aperture ring, you will have to go to the "custom menu" and select the "Using aperutre ring" and perhaps "Fl with S lens used".

This type of older lense limits the modes you can use - usually Av and M.
