I feel your pain but it was all me - dropped my K-5 a meter but got away with it last year, and scraped my new car twice in its first 3 weeks last month. Maybe I don't deserve new toys?

You are just so lucky. When the K/1 full frame arrives you can just order ot and the misses still will feel guilty about the K/5 IIs dropping,

A bit of sharpie will fix that right up. If you prefer to look like a "real" photographer then some gaffers tape is the way forward.

Strap mystery

@ LaurenOE,

I think the attached image will answer your questions about the strap nub, and why the buckle position was moved in the instructions. It is taken from page 26 of the MZ-5 manual.
