[Help] K10D not accepted F sens

I dont know what happens, but I'm sure K10D accepted F lens? or not? To make thing short, when I put the SMC Pentax-F 35-70mm on my K10D body, the aperture indicator in only blinking (F--). Is anything wrong with my K10D body or the F lens?

I dont know the F series, but does it have an A setting on the aperture ring?

if it doesnt, you might need to go into the custom settings menu and scroll down to 'using aperture ring', and set it to 'permitted'

just a thought

If the lens has an aperture ring you may have to set your aperture on the lens itself. The f-- is shown, at least in my experience, when the camera is expecting you to set the aperture value on the lens.

My lens does has the aperture ring. So do you think when I put the F series and the M lens, the F-- shown is normal?

Anyway, glad to see another Wasatch Front folk here!

Try setting the aperture ring to A, and you'll hopefully be good to go

The apoerture ring is on A all the time. I feel like I have to bring them (body and lens) to the shop, which is sad

The f--- is normal for other than "A" lenses, check the contacts on the lens and move the aperture ring on and off the "A" setting a few times. I'd try another lens anyhow.
