Hi everybody,
I enjoyed looking at the pictures very much and quite surpriced by the IQ on some...
I have the chance to get a body in good condition for a very good price. But I am wondering what is the best way to power this non-proprietary-battery camera?
I searched and read a lot and the main reason I care is for improved AF speed with better batteries. Also, Lithium ones seem lighter and last longer but are also very expensive. From what I´ve read:
- Some are in favour of "hybrid" rechargable AA batteries such as Eneloops, Sony Cycle, Ray o Vac Hybrid, etc. But it´s a mixed bag of experiences for each user.
- Others say Lithium disposable batteries are the only ones that work as expected / reliable.
- "RCR-V3" batteries are tempting but difficult to find and dangerous to the camera if they are not "regulated". This one seems good and not so expensive for example:
Amazon.com: 2 Lithium-Ion Battery&Charger for Kodak CR-V3 CRV3: Camera & Photo
So, anyone has any experience with this kind of batteries? Which are the ones that work for you?
PS: Now I realize I am perhaps highjacking the thread, I´ll make a new one if OP finds it suitable.
Thanks everyone,
Francisco
