made LOTS of money with that thing - paid for itself about 50x's. LOVED being film free FINALLY! When I got it, we were still sad about the full-frame disaster of 2001, but Pentax came back with a wonderful machine. Mine, 10 years on, is still going strong. But compared to the K5, I'm sorry...NO comparison. Love my *ist D in every way, though. It's like my best friend.
