K-30 preparing for sale?

Hello All,

I am getting ready to sell my K-30 with WR 18-55 kit lens and 43mm limited. There are also some other accessories. It's almost new.

My questions are:

How do I check how many times the shutter fired?

Should I try to sell it on this site vs. ebay?

I would like to sell it all together first. If it does not sell split it up. Is that a good idea?

Any ideas on a good price for this equipment?

Thank you all.

I would suggest trying to sell here first, as we don't charge you any final value fees or anything like that. Whether or not you want to sell the kit is of course up to you

You can check the shutter count by shooting a jpg photo and uploading it here:
Check Shutter Count & Camera Manufacture Date Online - EXIF Reader

As far as pricing goes, I would head over to the sold items section to research historical selling prices:
Sold Items - PentaxForums.com

Personally, I prefer to list items individually, as this results in better visibility/searchability and might let you sell it for more.

The people looking for a K-30 with kit lens may not want the 43, and conversely, those in the market for a 43 probably already have a camera. I'd split it if I were you.

That makes perfect since. I guess I will sell them separate.

Thank you.
