K-30 Ready for Sale - but can't - Any thoughts?

Hello All,

I have my K-30 and 43mm Limited ready for sale, but can't use the items for sale forums on this site. If I post it on Ebay can I post a link here? Or is that not allowed.

I was going to support the site with $10, but saw that it was only for 1 month. I don't know if it will sell in a month. I know it sounds strange, but I'm a little pressed for money. That's why I am selling the K-30 and can't part with $20 for the donation.

Thank you for the answers.

You will pay more than that to ebay in fees if you sell it there.

A month is a long time, and ebay fees are basically 9%, so I'd try the marketplace!

They are 10% now, and they even apply that to shipping charges. Plus PayPal fees, but those apply here too for the most part...

Maybe you all are correct. When I sell something on Ebay it never seems like that much, but I guess it is.

Just price the cost of your fees into the selling price. That's what every retailer on the planet does. The 2-4 % that credit and debit card companies charge the merchants is added in to what you buy.

Is a donation of $10 for Site Support good for a year, or just a month?

Thanks for the link. I was fooled because if you access that thread when not logged on, you only see a guest donation page without any details. It is only once you log in, you see all the donation options.

And please don't ask the buyer to cover the Paypal fees...it's the costs of doing business if that's the mode of payment you offer....it's a cheesy practice that we see here from time to time
