Is it possible to remove the AA filter from a DSLR?

Is it possible to remove the Anti Aliasing filter from a DSLR? I have a K100D which does not find much use.

The short answer is no, though there are a couple of other in - depth threads on this topic.

Thanks Adam, I saw that after posting the reply. I should not have limited my search only to DSLR discussion. Anyways the following post sums it all up ..

I suspect the least expensive way is to purchase a K-5iis.

There are companies out there that can remove the filter ... but based on prices, you are better off buying a k-5IIs rather than go that route ...

I was thinking of that mainly because of technical interest! I am happy with my K5 classic as it is. Next upgrade has to be a D800E equivalent or better from Pentax!
