K7 - camera stops in movie mode

Can anyone please help? My K7 stops in movie mode after about 45 sec. I was using sandisk 30mb sec 8gb Extreme but lock on sd card broke. Bought sandisk 30mb sec 32 gb ultra and problem started. See hourglass spinning and have to shut off camera and start again. Same happens with 2gb card which used to work as backup. Let me know. I planned on using movie mode tonight. Thanks.

Are you on the latest firmware? (1.04)

Mine did the same thing. I didn't care to find the answer, however, and just stopped using it. I think it is over heating.
