Upgrade from K100D to K10D or K200D?

I'm looking to upgrade my K100D body, and I'm curious as to the pros and cons of the K10D vs. K200D? I've looked up spec differences and I've found a few differences, so I'm curious if anyone can elaborate a bit more. Here's what I've found:

K10D vs. K200D

+/-3EV vs. +/-2EV
9 Continuous RAW shots vs. 4 Continuous JPEG
2.5" LCD (210k) vs. 2.7" LCD (230k)
11 pt AF vs. new 11-point SAFVOX VIII AF
More lens mounts vs. KAF2 only
793g vs. 690g

Is there anything else I should know before I decide? Right now I'm definitely leaning toward the K10D, but I saw a thread that mentioned that the K200D has better ISO performance, which might be a tempting idea, either that, or I just save up a bit more and get the K20D.

Thanks guys, this forum looks to be a great resource!

- In camera RAW editing
- Raw button
- Front & Back wheels!
- Remote Flash
- Extensive colour settings
- Green button
- Very many custom settings

- No scene modes

K200D = compact K10D, with some useful features and speed plucked out.

Go for the K10D.

of these "K10D items he missed" some are shared on the K200D as well.
The K200D does have the SV and P modes, but not TAv, not according to the manual
It also has a RAW button and in-camera RAW editing.

True the K200D does not have the front e-dial. The K200D also doesn't seem to have multiple exposure capability.
But it does have the enhanced dynamic range feature that the K10D does not. Runs on AA's if that's your thing, also has a vertical grip available.

The biggest "step down" it has from the K10D (in my opinion) is the smaller viewfinder and the buffer. But I'm not a fps guy, I've backed up my buffer (on my K110D) probably 4 times in well over a year of solid use.

Oh and the K200D isn't "KAF2" only. The mount is specified as KAF2, but the manual says lenses used: KAF2, KAF, KA. And it has the same options for using/metering with lenses without the <A> setting. You just have to set to permit aperture ring use in the custom settings, that's all.

Both cameras have the same sensor. The controls and their layout on the K10D are much superior. There is much less hunting through the menus. The dual edials alone make the k10d a better move.

Thanks for all the help guys! I will be picking up the K10D soon, as soon as I can offload this K100D. Although I might have to grab the K10D just to take some nicer pics of the K100D.

Anyway, thank you so much for all the help!
