sensorklear vs dirty sensor

I just wanted to share my experience with this product vs. cleaning fingerprints on the sensor. When I searched on the forum there was not a lot of mention about fingerprints on the sensor as mostly dust and dirt was discussed. also most recommend a "wet" clean which I am not ready to do or am comfortable to do.
I did email the company that manufactures the Sensorklear and their reply to me was that the sensorklear was not made to remove fingerprints... non the less i still tried it and it was a success. It took me 3 passes to fully remove the fingerprint on the K100D's sensor. Very happy

I've been trying to answer that same question as well. If you must know the history of the said camera, it was purchased from eBay. I had asked the seller the same question as well however he does not have answers for me.
The camera is in excellent condition (exterior-wise) however the aforementioned sensor smudge was the issue. A quick clean solved the problem.

Yeah, that would be easy to do. I've nearly done it myself.

I wish Pentax would have made a shutter over the sensor that opened automatically when you mounted a lens & closed over the sensor when you dismounted it. It would have been easy to implement and would go a long way toward protecting the sensor.

I have the sensorklear pen & it's indeed a pretty good product.
